Arizona Cardinals
Los Angeles Rams
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals (2-0)
The Vikings blew a comeback by missing a last-second field goal and lost 34-33. This game had a combined 7 different TD Scorers with practically no defense. Murray continues his MVP caliber start to this season and Kirk Cousins refuses to leave the top 10.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: Kyler Murray, Rondale Moore, Deandre Hopkins, Chase Edmonds, Maxx Williams
PLAYERS I LOVE
Kyler Murray
~ 39.10 PPR
~ 29/36 400 YDS 3 TDs 2 INTs
~ 4/6 in RedZone with 2 TDS
~ 5-31 1 TD Rushing
- JAX is next on the schedule for Murray allowing him another great opportunity to stay at the top of the MVP race
- LAR and SF follow. In a tight division, these matchups usually come down to whoever has the better defense. This year, ARI DEF has started hot. Murray had 28.3-SF Week1, 22.42-LAR Week 13, 15.38-SF Week 16 last season.
Rondale Moore
~ 24.4 PPR
~ 7/8 114 YDs 1 TD
~ 2 out of 6 RedZone Targets
~ 2-2 in RedZone
- Moore is currently sitting at WR17.
- With LAR and SF coming up, I expect Hopkins to receive most of the attention which should help keep his lead of a team-high 13 Targets.
- I would be confident in having Moore as my WR3/FLEX for ROS. Keep an eye on snap% and health going forward.
Deandre Hopkins
~ 15.4 PPR
~ 4/54 1 TD 13.5 YPR
~ 1 out of 6 RedZone Targets
~ 1/1 1 TD in RedZone
- Deandre Hopkins is currently sitting at WR10
- Hopkins will continue to find a way every week to put up points and be a consistent WR1.
- In 2020, Hopkins scored 22.1 vs SF Week 1, 15.2 vs LAR Week 13, 8.8 vs SF in Week 16
PLAYERS TO FADE
Chase Edmonds
~ 12.5 PPR
~ 8-46 YDs 5.75 YPC
~ 1/2 Rushing Attempts in RedZone
~ 5/5 Rec 29 YDS 5.8 YPR
- Edmonds is currently RB18
- ROS I have Edmonds at my RB26. Right outside of an RB2
- This team will continue to put up points throughout the season but with a tough RB schedule ROS, I would lean towards playing a solid WR3 with a higher ceiling over Edmonds.
Maxx Williams
~ 16.4 PPR
~ 7/7 94 YDs
~ 0/0 in RedZone
~ 13.43 YPR
- Williams averaged just 4.0 PPG in 6 games in 2020
- Williams is the TE1 in that offense but saw just 1 target in Week1
- I would not be confident in streaming Maxx Williams for the ROS.
Los Angeles Rams (2-0)
Stafford and the Rams were able to hold off late-game Jacob Eason and the Colts winning 27-24.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Darrell Henderson
PLAYERS I LOVE
Cooper Kupp
~ 36.8 PPR
~ 9/11 163 YDs 2 TDs 18.11 YPR
~ 2/4 RedZone Targets
~ 2/2 REC 2 TDs
- Kupp is currently WR1
- Kupp is 2nd behind Kyler Murray in PPG with 30.3
- I would be very confident in having Kupp as my WR1 for ROS. Most fantasy teams likely drafted Kupp as their WR2 and to those people, I tip my hat to you.
Matthew Stafford
~ 21.22 PPR
~ 19-30 278 YDs 2 TDs 1 INT
~ 2/4 in the RedZone with 2 TDS
- Stafford is currently QB11
- The Rams are off to a hot start and Stafford continues to throw near the RedZone
- I have Stafford as my QB9 ROS
Darrell Henderson
~ 17.2 PPR
~ 13-53 1TD 4.08 YPC
~ 5-17 YDs 1 TD in RedZone
~ 3/5 29 YDs 9.67 YPR
- Henderson is currently the RB9
- Henderson saw an increased passing opportunity in a game that came down to the last drive. With TB, ARI, and SEA coming up, Henderson should be seeing a lot more volume in the passing game.
- I would be confident in having Henderson as my RB2 ROS.
PLAYERS TO FADE
I’m not fading anyone in this offense. Robert Woods and Tyler Higbee will still see a fair share of Fantasy Points as the year goes on. The dominance of Kupp early should come with the consequence of having more teams spy him in the next upcoming weeks. I’m giving Woods and Higbee until week 6 to show me that they can be consistent WR2/FLEX or streaming TE options. Until then, I would be comfortable with Woods being my WR3/FLEX and I wouldn’t be comfortable with having Higbee as my starting TE.
Seattle Seahawks (1-1)
The Seahawks lost an Overtime thriller to the Titans 33-30. Lockett continues to impress while the run game still finds ways to be effective.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: Tyler Lockett, Russell Wilson, Chris Carson
PLAYERS I LOVE
Tyler Lockett
~ 31.8 PPR
~ 8/11 178 YDs 1 TD
~ 0/1 in RedZone
~ 22.25 YPR
- Lockett is currently WR2
- Lockett is the 6th-Highest in PPG
- The connection between Wilson and Lockett looks even better than last year. While the run game continues to struggle, I expect Lockett to see more volume in the upcoming weeks.
- I would be confident in having Tyler Lockett as my WR1. For everyone that got him in the 4th RD of drafts, hats off.
DK Metcalf
~ 11.3 PPR
~ 6/11 53 YDs
~ 0/1 in RedZone
~ 8.83 YPR
- DK currently sits at WR34
- The poor run game is hurting DK production
- Play action was a huge part of this offense last year and as the run game develops they will be able to find ways to get DK into more 1-on-1 situations
- I would be confident in DK as my WR2 for ROS. I WOULDNT trade an RB2 for DK.
Chris Carson
~ 15.1 PPR
~ 13-31 YDs 2TDs
~ 5-11 in RedZone 2 TDs
~ 0 Targets
- Carson is currently RB17
- Through two games you can see how the game script has affected Carson. In Week 1 they were able to run the ball and he had 91 yards with 3 catches. In Week 2 when they struggled running the ball, Carson had 31 yards and no catches.
- Carson finished as RB11 in 2020 while only playing 11 games.
- I would have confidence in Carson as my RB2 ROS.
PLAYERS TO FADE
Gerald Everett
~ 1.3 PPR
~ 1/2 3 YDs
~ 0 RedZone targets
- There has some high hope coming into the season that Seattle finally had a TE capable of using week to week and that has not been the case through week 2.
- Seeing just 4 Targets in 2 weeks will not crack my starting lineup.
- Keep Everett on the Wire and continue to stream matchups for TEs.
San Francisco 49ers (2-0)
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: Deebo Samuel and JaMycal Hasty
PLAYERS I LOVE
Deebo Samuel
~ 16.1 PPR
~ 6/8 93 YDs
~ 0 RedZone Targets
~ 15.5 YPR
- Deebo continues to shine leading the NFL in YAC with 156.
- Deebo is currently WR3 behind Kupp and Lockett also in his division
- Samuel leads his team with 20 Targets
- The 49ers look like they have some depth chart stuff to work on and in the meantime, I will keep playing Deebo as a WR2 comfortably for ROS.
JaMycal Hasty
~ 9.9 PPR
~ 5-38 YDs
~ 1/1 4 YDs in RedZone
~ 1 Target in RedZone
- Hasty is currently RB35
- Hasty saw the majority of carries in the two-minute drill at the end of the first half.
- With injuries to Sermon and Mitchell, I would monitor Hasty’s availability as he is fighting an ankle injury
- If Hasty gets the nod for week 3 I would be confident in playing him above all other SF RBs
- I would be comfortable with having Hasty as a valuable flex option for ROS.
PLAYERS TO FADE
Jimmy Garoppolo
~ 21.56 PPR
~ 22-30 189 YDs 1 TD
~ 1-2 11 YDS 1 TD in RedZone
~ 11/20 Rushing 1 TD
- Jimmy G is currently QB19
- Even with major injuries early in the season, the 49ers continue to show that they are a run-first team. Even with big playmakers like Kittle and Deebo, Jimmy G still won’t find his way into my lineups anytime soon.
George Kittle / Brandon Aiyuk
- DON’T FADE THESE GUYS
- Just wanted to point out that these guys have been struggling through two weeks
- Kittle is TE12 and Aiyuk is nonexistent
- Kittle is underperforming for being drafted in the 3rd and 4th round of drafts but I would still be confident in Kittle as my TE for ROS as I have him finishing as my TE5.
- Aiyuk is someone who had such a huge role without Deebo last season and that is why I am not fading Aiyuk
- Deebo hasn’t shown he can be healthy for a full season
- Expect a quicker turnaround for Kittle compared to Aiyuk and wait for both of these players to give value later on in the season
