Rumor has it that you’re still looking for a defense to stream in your fantasy football lineups for week 11. Is that the case? Well look no further, I’ve got you covered!
I’ll be highlighting DSTs that may still be available in your leagues, the ones that weren’t signed on waivers. These are DSTs that are still below a 35% in roster percentage on ESPN that I feel are startable if you’re still searching.
These options are only for the teams who didn’t pick someone up on waivers this week and still need a startable DST for the week. Your waivers may look barren and the top options are off the board, but I’ve got a few teams that may still be hanging around on your waivers.
My projections are based on Vegas odds, defensive and offensive player projections, starters, and positional matchups. These are your defensive detours!
Defenses Under 35% Roster Percentage
PHI Eagles – 10.8%
Opponent – NO
Consider this a very meh starting option (I guess everything mostly is at this low ownership), but it’s not a bad one. The Eagles DST is coming off one of their best performances of the season, thanks to a Darius Slay fumble return TD, and I expect some of that momentum to carry into this week. They face a Saints team that is looking to be without Alvin Kamara for another week which could slow the team down. They have one of the lowest expected scores from Vegas with 20.5 and I’m always a fan of that! Annoyingly, this game could wind up being a defensive battle.
LA Chargers – 4.8%
Opponent – PIT
The Steelers are looking to start Mason Rudolph at QB again this week with Ben Roethlisberger still on the COVID list. Since that’s the case, this LAC defense is a great start. The Steelers last week struggled to score against the Lions and I feel like that’s all that needs to be said. The Lions DST finished the week as the tenth-highest scoring DST for week 10 and the Chargers are much better. Throw them in your starting lineup if you need to.
Defenses Under 50% Roster Percentage
MIA Dolphins – 47.7%
Opponent – NYJ
It’s 2021 and Joe Flacco is suiting up for the week 11 matchup between the Jets and the Dolphins. Yuck. The Jets are on to their third string QB with Zach Wilson out with an injury and Mike White just being bad last week, so Flacco is getting the starting call. I’m not expecting a lot of points from the Jets this week, so the HOT Dolphins DST (18 and 17 point performances the past two weeks) is a great start for the week.
